Un beau capharnaüm ! Émaux et collections.

Une exposition conçue en un capharnaüm intentionnel autour de Period Rooms et cabinets-séquences présentant œuvres et objets émaillés – particulièrement reflet de l’art de l’émail de Limoges – en écho d'objets du quotidien appartenant à « l’univers intérieur » de collectionneurs d’émaux.

Une confrontation sensitive interrogeant les contextes de la création d’une centaine d'œuvres en émail sur métal allant du XIIe au XXIe siècles, issues de collections privées limousines ou nationales.

An exhibition conceived in an intentional capharnaum around Period Rooms and "cabinets-sequences" presenting enamelled works and objects - particularly a reflect of the art of Limoges enamel - echoing objects of daily life belonging to the "interior universe" of enamel collectors.

A sensitive confrontation questioning the contexts of the creation of a hundred or so works in enamel on metal from the 12th to the 21st centuries, from private collections in Limousin or nationally.
